Browsing without an account
You can browse every job without an account. We don't use advertising trackers. Our host, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data (like your IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
To tell employers how many people viewed their page or clicked Apply, we keep simple daily counters (for example "42 views of this company page today"). They contain no cookies, no IP addresses and nothing that identifies you.
When you create an account
- Name and email address. To run your account and send account emails (confirming your email, resetting your password).
- Password. Stored only in scrambled (hashed) form. Nobody at SaaSquatch can read it.
- Google sign-in. If you choose "Continue with Google," Google shares your name, email address and a Google account ID with us. We don't receive your Google password, contacts or anything else.
- What you save. The jobs you save, companies you follow and searches you save, so we can show them in My Expedition and (once you turn them on) send job alerts.
- Sign-in records. When you signed up and last logged in, and a short-lived record of failed login attempts to protect accounts from password guessing.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in, plus a short-lived cookie during Google sign-in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use your information
- To run your account and show your saved jobs, companies and searches.
- To send account emails and, if you set them up, job alerts.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
We don't sell your personal information.
Who helps us run SaaSquatch
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores account data.
- Resend delivers our emails.
- Google handles sign-in, if you choose it.
Job listings
Jobs are copied from companies' public career pages. When you click "Apply," you leave SaaSquatch and the company's own privacy policy applies to your application.
Your choices
- Change your name, email or password any time in My Expedition → Settings.
- Delete your account there too. This permanently removes your account and everything you've saved.
- Unsubscribe from job alerts using the link in any alert email.
- Email us to ask for a copy of your data or for help with anything above.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information until you delete your account. Login sessions expire after 30 days, and failed-login records are cleared within a day.
Children
SaaSquatch is for job seekers 16 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell account holders by email.
